The brief

ARP Brode & Dantel is a textile supplier in Güngören, Istanbul, selling embroidered fabric, lace and tulle wholesale. Its customers are makers of underwear, outerwear and bridal wear who want to see the patterns and ask for a price before committing to a supplier. We built the site around those two steps. Products fall into three groups: embroidery, lace, and mesh & tulle. The whole collection sits in a PDF catalogue that turns page by page in the browser and can be downloaded. A quote button is in the header of every page, with phone and WhatsApp one click away. A restrained black-and-white design lets the fabric lead, with gold used only as a fine accent. The site is live in Turkish and English, built with Next.js and running on Coolify.

Approach

Three decisions that shaped the project.

  1. 01

    Three groups by product type

Embroidery, lace, and mesh & tulle each have their own page describing uses and key varieties, so wholesale buyers go straight to the fabric they need.

  2. 02

    A page-turning catalogue

We turned the printed catalogue into an e-book that flips page by page in the browser. Built with PDF.js and react-pageflip, it works on mobile too, and the file downloads in one click.

  3. 03

A quiet interface that puts fabric first

A black-and-white palette and large photography give the patterns room. A five-photo crossfade hero shows the collection straight away, and a header that turns from transparent to white on scroll stays out of the way.
