Delivery and refund policy
How we deliver our digital services: preview, revisions, go-live, handover of source code and domain, and how cancellations and refunds work, including refunds through iyzico.
- Last updated
TürkçeThis English version is provided for convenience. The Turkish original is the legally binding text; where the two differ, the Turkish version prevails.
This document explains how we apply the delivery and refund provisions of the distance service contract in practice. If the two documents differ, the provisions of the contract prevail.
1. Scope
All of our web design and development, e-commerce, custom software, SEO and performance work, and maintenance and support services are performed electronically. We do not sell physical products; no shipping or delivery charges apply.
2. Delivery process
- Kick-off. Once the quote is approved and the initial payment made, we finalise the project timeline and list the content and access we need. If you are a consumer and have not consented to an early start, work begins after the 14-day withdrawal period has expired.
- Preview. We share design and development outputs on a preview (staging) link open only to you, so you can follow progress live.
- Revisions and approval. We submit each stage for your written approval after the revision rounds (section 4).
- Go-live. With your approval we deploy the work to the live environment; domain redirects, the SSL certificate and baseline performance and SEO checks are handled at this stage.
- Handover. Once the price has been paid in full, we send the source code (as a Git repository or archive), administrator access and brief usage notes, and remind you to change any temporary credentials.
The delivery date is the date on which the work goes live or the handover package is sent, and is notified to you by email.
3. Delivery time
- The delivery time is set out stage by stage in the quote, according to the scope of the project.
- If content, feedback, access or payments expected from you are delayed, the timeline is extended by the length of the delay.
- If we become aware that we cannot meet the committed timeline, we will inform you without delay. In that case you may withdraw from the contract; any amount you have paid for the unperformed part is refunded within 14 days at the latest.
4. Revision process
- Revision rights are set out in the quote. Unless the quote states otherwise, 3 rounds of revisions at the design stage are free of charge.
- You send your revision requests in writing as a single list per round (by email or through the shared project tool). Depending on its scope, each round is usually completed within 1–5 business days.
- Requests that rework an approved stage from scratch or extend the scope count as new work rather than revisions. Before carrying them out, we submit the additional time and cost for your written approval.
- Corrections of errors and omissions on our side are not deducted from your revision rounds.
5. Domain, hosting and accounts
- The source code and the domain belong to you. Domains and hosting accounts are opened in your name; for domains we register in your name, the transfer code is provided without delay at your request.
- If we migrate your existing site, we share the migration plan and any risk of downtime in advance and carry out the switch with the shortest possible interruption.
- Unless otherwise stated in the quote, the costs of third-party services such as hosting, domains, paid plugins, licences and APIs are borne by you and paid directly to the relevant provider.
6. Post-delivery support
For 30 days from delivery, we fix software bugs in the work we delivered free of charge. Changes made by you or third parties, issues caused by hosting and third-party services, and new requests outside the scope are not covered by this support; we can agree a separate maintenance arrangement for them. This support does not limit your statutory rights in respect of a defective service.
7. Withdrawal, cancellation and refunds
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| You are a consumer, within the 14-day withdrawal period, and have not consented to an early start | You may withdraw without giving reasons; the full amount you paid is refunded without deduction. |
| You consented to an early start and work has begun | The right of withdrawal ends under Art. 15(1)(h) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts. You may still terminate the contract; the remaining amount is refunded after deducting the price of the completed stages. |
| Cancellation after work has begun (no right of withdrawal, or the period has expired) | The price of the work completed under the stage plan in the quote and delivered to you or submitted for your approval, together with any non-refundable third-party costs, is deducted and the remaining amount refunded. No penalty or further deduction applies. |
| We are unable to provide the service or to perform it within the committed period | The full price relating to the unperformed part is refunded. |
| The work has been delivered | No refund is made for delivered work; your statutory rights in respect of a defective service remain unaffected. |
| Business customers | The consumer withdrawal provisions do not apply; in the event of cancellation, the set-off principles above apply. |
8. How do refunds work?
- Request. Write to info@canturan.dev stating the payment date, the amount and, if available, the quote number. To withdraw, you may use the model form annexed to the distance service contract.
- Confirmation. We confirm receipt of your request within 1 business day. In cancellation cases, we share the set-off breakdown together with our reasons.
- Payment. We make the refund within 14 days at the latest of your notice reaching us in the case of withdrawal, or of agreement being reached on the refund amount in other cases.
- Card payments. Refunds are made through iyzico to the card used for payment; refunds cannot be made in cash or to a different card. The time it takes for the amount to appear on your card depends on your bank and usually takes a few business days. Refunds of instalment transactions may be credited by your bank in line with the instalment plan.
- Bank transfer payments. Refunds are made to the account from which payment was made or to a bank account in your own name that you specify.
No fee or charge is requested from you for a refund.
