From a one-person workshop to a 100+ project studio.

canturan.dev began in Istanbul in 2007 as a one-person web workshop. Today we are a digital product studio with more than 100 projects delivered for clinics, hearing-care brands, architects, manufacturers and associations across Türkiye, Germany and the EU.

01 / Story

Why we exist

Every project starts with the same question: what will this website, this shop, this piece of software actually do for your business? Until that is clear, we don’t write a line of code.

Our early years were about company websites. Then our clients wanted to sell online, so e-commerce and payment integrations followed. After sales came operations: QR inventory systems for stock counts, desktop apps that run in the field, admin panels teams open every single day.

Today we work with healthcare clinics, hearing-care brands operating in Türkiye, Germany and the EU, architecture practices, manufacturers and associations. We stay deliberately small: the person you talk to is the person who builds your project.

02 / Timeline

Timeline: 2007 – 2026

  1. 2007

    The start

  2. 01

    The first company websites

Hand-coded, fast and easy-to-maintain websites for small businesses and independent professionals.

  3. 02

    E-commerce and payment integrations

Product catalogues, virtual POS and payment gateways: the years our clients took their sales online.

  4. 03

Custom software: QR inventory, desktop apps

Where off-the-shelf software fell short, we built our own tools: QR-based inventory tracking, Electron desktop apps, Django admin panels.

  5. 04

    Multilingual European projects

Sites for brands in Germany and the EU, published in Turkish, English and German and reading like a native in every market.

  6. 05

    The Next.js and headless era

Today: fast digital products built with Next.js, headless content management and Core Web Vitals targets.

  7. 2026

    Today

03 / Principles

Five principles we won’t bend on.

  1. 01 / 05

    Performance first

Speed isn’t a feature, it’s a precondition. We build every page to Core Web Vitals targets and measure before anything goes live.

  2. 02 / 05

    Measurable goals

“Make it look nice” isn’t a goal. Before we start, we agree in writing how success will be measured: enquiries, sales, speed, search visibility.

  3. 03 / 05

    You own everything

Source code, domain, content and accounts are in your name. If we ever part ways, you take all of it with you.

  4. 04 / 05

    Direct communication

No account managers, no layers in between. You ask the person doing the work and get an answer within one business day.

  5. 05 / 05

    Support for the long run

Launch day is a beginning, not an end. For updates, maintenance and new needs, you keep the team that has known your codebase from day one.

04 / How we work

Clear scope, visible progress.

We don’t like surprises, and neither do you. Every project follows the same four-step rhythm.

  1. First call

    01. Direct line to the builder

From the first call to handover you speak to the person building your project. The brief never changes hands and nothing gets lost in translation.

  2. Proposal

    02. Fixed scope, fixed price

After the intro call we send a proposal that spells out scope, timeline and price. If the scope needs to change, we talk first and price second.

  3. Every week

    03. Weekly demos

Every week you see a working build. Your feedback shapes the project along the way, not after it’s finished.

  4. Handover

    04. A complete handover

Source code, every login, documentation and a short training session for your team. And we’re still here for support after launch.
