The brief

Gönye Mimarlık handles interior design, architectural projects, construction and restoration under one roof. In architecture, finished work is what persuades clients, so when we rebuilt the site from scratch in Next.js we put the projects at the centre. Each project is grouped by type and district, such as complete apartments, bathroom renovations or architectural design, and has its own page with photography and video. Interior design, architectural project development, construction and project management, consultancy, 3D visualisation and restoration each have a dedicated service page. A four-step quote form asks for project type, service and floor area, then sends the request straight to the studio’s inbox. Client reviews, an FAQ and a careers page complete the site.

Approach

Three decisions that shaped the project.

  1. 01

    Architecture centred on projects

Projects are grouped by type and district, so visitors quickly find work like their own and move on to the matching service.

  2. 02

Quiet design that lets images lead

Neutral tones, generous space, large photography and restrained motion. The interface steps back and the spaces do the talking.

  3. 03

    Fast despite heavy imagery

Pre-rendered Next.js pages run in Docker on Coolify and are served through Cloudflare, so large photographs and video never slow the page down.
