The brief
Teknoser Hearing Centres sell hearing aids and offer hearing tests and device care from branches across several Istanbul districts. The current site runs on WordPress; over time its content had become scattered and it was heavy on mobile. We rewrote the new version from scratch in Next.js and carried the content over faithfully: earring-style, rechargeable, in-the-ear and behind-the-ear devices, the Aria6, Nano3, Smart, TIE and TIE-X series and paediatric care each have their own page. Visitors can assess themselves with a five-question online check, find their nearest branch on the map and leave an appointment request. The project is in development: the site is not live yet, and the domain still serves the old WordPress site.

Approach
Three decisions that shaped the project.
Same content, new shell
We did not rewrite the copy, product descriptions or blog posts; we moved the existing content across as it was and reorganised it in a clean, white design. Every product page comes from the same template, which makes adding a new series to the catalogue straightforward.
A switch that keeps search traffic
Old WordPress URLs, category and author archives and the old sitemap addresses are tied to the new pages with permanent redirects. Every page defines its title, description, canonical and JSON-LD data, and the sitemap and robots file are generated automatically.
Tools that lead visitors to a branch
Branches are shown on a Leaflet map; once location access is granted, the nearest branch is suggested with its distance. The appointment and contact forms are protected with KVKK consent, a honeypot field and rate limiting, and requests go straight to e-mail.
