The brief

Arvo Decor is a boutique workshop in Ataşehir, Istanbul, making bespoke kitchens and furniture; it started out as the production workshop of Artpoint Mimarlık. The workshop wanted a website that presents its work with an architect’s eye rather than as a catalogue: kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, youth rooms and finished projects. We built a Next.js site with a dark, warm interface. The home page has a hero slider, a category grid and a featured collection. A dedicated kitchen page covers styles, door finishes and a four-step process from site survey to installation. Projects can be filtered by type, and product pages have a zoomable gallery. Visitors reach the workshop through a quote button, WhatsApp or a contact form. The site is not live yet; the screenshots come from a local build.

Approach

Three decisions that shaped the project.

  1. 01

Content in one place, one access layer

Products, categories, contact details and navigation live in a single typed data file. Pages read it through async accessor functions rather than directly, so moving to a CMS later means changing that layer only.

  2. 02

A page of its own for kitchens

Kitchens are the workshop’s core business, so we did not squeeze them into the category list. Styles, lacquer, acrylic, solid wood and membrane doors, and the survey, design, production and installation steps each get space on their own page.

  3. 03

The same validation on both sides

The contact form is validated with the same Zod schema in the browser and on the server, and that schema is covered by Vitest tests. The server rate-limits requests per IP and forwards messages to the workshop over SMTP.
