The brief

Helix Hearing is the German home of the Helix hearing-aid brand. Its range is technically strong – the in-canal Tie line with swappable modules, alongside the Alfa 3 and Alfa W models – but that edge needed explaining to German users and hearing-care professionals plainly, in their own language. We built the site around product families: a page for each model, accessory and app pages, downloadable user manuals, a list of the models registered in Germany and a knowledge section on topics such as tinnitus. German is the primary language with English alongside. The site runs on a Flatsome-based WordPress theme, and the team publishes new products and articles itself.

Approach

Three decisions that shaped the project.

  1. 01

    Structured by product family

Tie, Tie X and Alfa each have their own pages, so visitors see the difference first and then drill into the model. Accessories and the app sit right next to the products.

  2. 02

    Design that simplifies technical products

Concepts such as the modular build are told through short copy and clear visuals, with type and spacing tuned for the broad age range of hearing-aid users.

  3. 03

    Built for the local market

Polylang serves German and English as separate, properly tagged language versions. Manuals, products and the blog are in the team’s hands, no code required.
